It's been a busy first day of Summer Camp. It started Saturday at 6.30pm with the journey through Europe. The driver was great and despite a sort hold up for a major accident on the opposite carriage way we still arrived a couple of hours ahead of schedule.
This meant we were able to have a breakfast at the castle before sorting rooms and doing activities for the rest of the day.
The Scouts are absolutely shattered now so hopefully they will all settle down after showers and look forward to another busy day of activities tomorrow.
It starts with Catapult building and making hair garlands and Knights helmets in the morning, followed by a guided tour of the SOS village in the afternoon.
